Our Safe, Easy, and Risk-Free In Home Trial Program allows you to try up to 2 violins, 2 violas, or 1 cello, and up to 4 bows for a 7 day trial period,

Shipped anywhere in the U.S.

Bows over $300, violins and violas over $1000, and cellos over $2,500 are all eligible.

Safe – Our shipping containers are designed so that instruments and bows arrive to you safely, in playing condition.

Risk-Free – You are not responsible for anything that may happen in shipping.

 Easy – Take the guesswork out of return shipping charges. Our shipments include a prepaid return label for easy returns. There is a $25 fee to select, process, and ship bow trials, $45 for violin or viola trials, and $120 for cellos. (Shipping charges may be higher to Alaska and Hawaii)

PLEASE NOTE - THERE is no charge for local trials.
*For out of state trials, the customer is responsible for round-trip shipping costs if no purchase is made.

Shipping and Instrument Trial Periods

You don't have to visit us in person to be served by our shop. We are pleased to ship instruments and bows for trial purposes. We pay the shipping charges to you and you are responsible for return charges. Return shipping must be by the same class of service, i.e. ground or air.

We will create a return shipping label for you so you don’t have to visit any store (unless you just want to drop it off).

Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to the Wyatt Violin Shops In-Home Trial policy, I understand that all instruments and bows borrowed from Wyatt Violin Shop must be returned by the date written below in the same cosmetic and playing condition as when I received them. If any items are not returned by the date in the agreement, and the Wyatt Violin Shop does not agree to extend the trial, the Wyatt Violin Shop reserves the right to bill the credit card provided for the full purchase price of the unreturned items. Any damage to the items on trial shall be paid for, in full, up to the purchase price of the damaged items. In the case of a dispute, these terms and conditions, the in-home trial agreement, and customer service notes on file with the Wyatt Violin Shop shall determine the outcome. The Wyatt Violin Shop requires a valid credit card number to be on file for the duration of the trial. For in-home trials of consignment instruments and/or a value totaling over $2,500, the Wyatt Violin Shop may also require a copy of a valid driver's license or state-issued photo ID to be kept on record.
